Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family and was born on 7 December 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. AAU also awarded the honorary Doctor of Science Award. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was once a married man to Anita Obhodaghe. He and they have two lovely children.
Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
While still in AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a pupil. He began his journey into ministry while still at AAU. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was then known as Youths For Christ.
YFC rapidly grew and eventually was the largest campus-based organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church's headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global ministry that has millions and associates across the world.
In the context of the 2002 miracles program, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry. They stopped airing it in May 2004 when the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria announced that churches should cease airing miracles.
Pastor Chris's Ministry has four arms that include publishing ministry for healing and teaching for television, and television ministry for TV ministry. These are the ministries Pastor Chris used to establish the healing school, the environment for miracles, as well as the global prayer network of Pastor Chris.
